"Pattern Recognition is a track that appeared to me like a glimmering jewel buried in a stone. The best way I can describe it is as a documentation of a conversation I had with a form of intelligence that appeared as a light inside my chest. The boundary between who or what was asking or answering the questions was blurred. Hearing this conversation felt like tuning to a frequency that was paradoxically out of my body and deep within it.

I recorded the demo in my bedroom one night and the original vocal take is the one I kept for the final version. Something mysterious happened, as if the song was telling me how it needed to be written. I was just listening."
