Meagre Martin

Formed in 2021 by three US-born musicians now based in Berlin, Meagre Martin creates a unique blend of indie rock and Americana, which they lovingly describe as ""Faux-Country."" In November 2023, they released their critically acclaimed debut album, Gut Punch, followed by a string of standout singles in 2024, including Malcolm, Never Thought, and Frankie. Their music has garnered praise from outlets like Gorilla Vs Bear, Stereogum, and BrooklynVegan, establishing them as one of Berlin's most exciting new bands. Despite their recent formation, Meagre Martin has already toured extensively. Highlights include supporting Alt-J on a major USA tour in late 2023, performing seven shows at SXSW in March 2024, and joining Chastity Belt for a European tour in May 2024. They finished that year supporting Nation of Language in Germany as well as playing Reeperbahn Festival, Pop Montreal and Pitchfork London - a total of 55 shows that year alone.
